Responsibilities include (but is not limited to) -         The creation of the weekly Transportation Schedule -         The Role owns the planning and execution from creating the weekly plan based on forecasted units through final tender to the assigned carrier. -         Improve plan optimization and consolidation by optimizing transportation plans across multi-period transportation and weekly plans and schedules. -         Monitor system generated exception/error reports and take action as necessary to correct issues. -         Produce/review various performance reports to drive results. -         Work with various internal groups to provide timely and accurate feedback regarding lanes’ performance and other issues which may arise.  Job Qualifications -         Bachelor’s in engineering, logistics or similar field. -         2+ years of experience in Supply Chain planning and execution -         2+ years managing Transportation operations including managing Truckload, Less than Truckload and Small -         Parcel carriers a plus -         EDI Integration -         Six Sigma and Lean experience preferred -         Experience in using SQL and databases in a business environment a plus -         Financial background a plus -         MBA preferred  Type: Contract Length: 6 Months Pay: $25 - $30 per hr  Kelly's 60 years in business is based on customer and employee satisfaction.
